GDMBR Day 3 – High Lonesome, NM to Silver City, NM
Show post location on mapWe posted stats on the first three days of the trip and some details on the preparations to get ready for the trip. Because of the new format of the home page you’ll need to click on the “View all posts” link at the bottom of this post to see the previous posts.
In the future we’ll try to put content with the stats but so many people were asking how the trip was going we at least wanted to update you on the progress we’ve made so far.

Distance traveled, feet climbed…
I don’t see a stat for “beers consumed” at this blues festival I’m hearing about.

Go for the Nimbus………..beer that is.
Or maybe a shot of Hornitos. It has been my pleasure help keep these guys focused on the real picture.
Keep it going and remember.
It’s just around the next corner

eh hmmm, I would ride faster through the snake infested areas than the others. What is the hold up? I could ride faster with my Schwinn with the banana seat and red, white and blue tassles (don’t forget the card in the spokes to make me sound tough). Maybe it is the missing card in the spokes that is holding you up with these new fangled bicycles you have.

Good progress guys! I was in Backyard Bikes today, Mike and the guys were asking about your progress. Looks like day 2 had good vertical and great distance! Be sure to contact them if you need anything shipped out to you. Mike B is headed out on an 2 week excursion in France with 8 Kettle Moraine Flyers on tuesday. His trip will be a little more cushy than yours.
Sounds like your having a great time and overcoming some challenges. I hear you can eat snake meat as protein supplement – helps with recovery, good complement to beer carbo load.

Greetings Chuck and Willy,
Ride to live. Live to ride. Bears bite. Proud of you guys – I understand hard rides cause I commute to shop from Arlington Heights. Bridge on North Branch over Caldwell is a KILLER. We got all the guys/gals at the shop and Lake Shore Athletic Club Spin Class riding HorriblyHilly.com this weekend. At dinner tomorrow we will toast your continued success and use your effort as inspiration to show our Brett Farvians that Chicago can climb and the Bears don’t suck,
Yours in success,
CHICAGO
